Frosty Frock promo pic!~

I didn't expect to see Frosty Frock's promo pics today...lol. She's cute indeed and as expected, her stock clothes are very plain...very very plain. XD Some of the members @ TIB pointed out she looks very close to Saffy...and she really does. The major difference is Frosty Frock is sbl and Saffy is rbl. I like sbl more. =D She also resembles Mitten...which I really like but she's US$500+ for the set with the petite. My only girl that was over US$500 was art attack. I don't want to spend so much on a doll anymore...if I ever do, it will be a Kozy...but she's like about $1000 for a nrfb. o_O...well I'm happy with my Blythe family already (maybe a few more members XD...hehehehe)

I've been visiting TIB a lot recently and my Blythe passion came back~ don't know if this is a good thing or not. XP There's still a few girls waiting for me to reroot...god knows how long they've been waiting...sorry!..but I will finish them!! I also need to update my website with pics of my girls and the customizing tips section. I've been wanting to update them but never got a chance to. I haven't took pics of my girls aside from modeling items for my shop for a lonnnng time...I think where to take the pics is the biggest problem. I'm not very creative when it comes to taking photos...like posing them and stuff. ..but I will take pics!!

<-- just took a few pics of Memo...here's one of them=D He was on the playpen shredding paper...so I just quickly took some pics. The older he's getting, the more he moves. I can only get 1 decent pic out of like 10. His body doesn't move when I take pics...its his head that keeps turning and stuff...as if he wants me to take like every angle of his face. Memo I can't do that when you move so fast! Now he's resting on my shoulders falling asleep while I'm typing this. He's a good birdie. =D...just a little bit of a biter sometimes... but its ok...no blood yet! I was looking at old pics of momo and melon...I miss them very much...hope they are doing ok. I hope momo's not breeding yet or anytime soon...that is what I'm afraid of the most...coz I don't know if they will provide her with the right stuff and spend the time taking care of her like I did. I remember spending so much time researching on breeding...many hours of reading, and watching clips. I just hope they're ok...warm and well fed.

New items update~

Its been awhile since I put new items in my shops. Both my website and etsy shop is updated with 8 new items. 6 minky fur coats, and 2 skirts. The minky fabrics are really soft and warm. I'm glad I made these fur coats. =D I'm currently finishing orders and making new items. Hopefully I can update with new items again soon!

Its been almost a year since I last bought a Blythe doll! (I just realized that..lol) There's been a lot of releases and a lot of them don't really appeal to me. There were some I was looking forward to after seeing the drawings...but after seeing the promo pics, I lost interest. Currently there's 2 upcoming new Blythes I'm looking forward to...Frosty Flock and Princess Milk BisQuit. Frosty Flock reminds me of Mittens that I always wanted to get but it was a bit too expensive. Frosty Flock's stock outfit is very simple and plain...but I like the hair and make-up. Hopefully the promo pic won't disappoint me. Princess Milk BisQuit is a collab release with Q Pot (a Japanese company that makes really cute dessert/food jewelleries + accessories) I really like and want their stuff...so cute! http://www.q-pot.jp/ Princess Milk BisQuit reminds me of my lil heart by milk before I curled her hair. The hair color and make-up is very close...judging by the drawing. However I still want her if she turns out good. Frosty Flock will be out next month and Princess Milk BisQuit will be out in January....hopefully the price won't go up too high by the time I can buy them. I still have to pay bills, save for Christmas gifts and I'm also planning to go back to school...so if I do get them, it will be way later. =( Oh well...we'll see how they turn out first.

For now I know I really want to buy a Blythe torso outfit stand set. There's a few colors to choose from...I might get the black and white or the pink and white set....or both. I want 2 stands...one with a black base and another with a white/cream base. Too bad they have to split it up in 2 seperate sets..-__-. For now, I'll get 1 set and see how it goes.

Day # 91 Entry Memo @ 7 weeks, 6 days old! ﴾•Ө•﴿

Memo will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. It looks like he's gonna wean pretty soon...seeing how much seeds he eats on his own. I'm very proud of him~ This means my handfeeding job is almost finished. Its been a very tired 5+ weeks of handfeeding indeed. I've been feeding him twice a day for the past few days but he is eating very little each time and tries to fly away whenever he gets a chance. Very difficult to feed him when he's like that..especially when the formula cools down super fast! I skipped the morning feeding today to see if he'll be ok and he didn't seem to be bothered by it...just ate his seeds as usual. I'm gonna try feeding him next morning and if he's not interested, I don't think I'll have to feed him breakfast anymore. I think by 9 weeks old he should be completely weaned. I'm not gonna force him by stop feeding him completely...just gradually and let him tell me if he wants to be fed or not anymore.

My mom's been super annoying about feeding him...how he's old enough to eat on his own, etc. and how I should stop feeding him coz I'm spoiling him. >.>...its not about spoiling him. Making sure that he can completely eat on his own without me helping him is very important. Every bird weans differently at a different age. Some wean very fast and some wean super slow. I've been reading about lovebirds everyday from different owners and breeder's experiences and there were cases that some can wean as early as 6 weeks old and some 9, 12 or even longer. For Memo, I was expecting somewhere from 9 -12 weeks old...coz he was not parent raised, and plus he's the only baby. More babies will make things more competitive for them and they will try to compete for food which will make things faster. Plus they will try and follow one and another...and learn quicker. Parent raised ones....the dad normally teaches the babies how to eat by 6 weeks old...and by 8 weeks old, they should be completely weaned. For Memo being a single hand fed baby is pretty good he's weaning so fast imo.

Once he's weaned, I'm gonna get his wings clipped and buy him a bigger cage. I already have one in mind which I really like. Not that it'll be for myself or anything...xp...I like the shape, door locations and how the main door opens. I've read positive reviews on that cage so it should be pretty good. I already set aside money for it...so financially, I'm ok. =) That cage costs about $180...it'll be nice if I can spend it on a nice bag...I need a new black bag!

Earlier this month, I just spent about $100 on a really nice play pen for Memo. I've been spending too much money for the past few months! 0_0
